Public Domain (P)2012 HPLHS, Inc.I listened to the Case of Charles Dexter Ward at night. That was a mistake. It was one of the more frightening stories, especially toward the end of the tale, while it was reaching its climax.
It wasn't overwhelmingly unexpected in any sense, but it was still a worthwhile read.
I definitely recommend this story, and the HP Lovecraft historical society have again made a great performance.
