Publisher's Summary

If one call could set you on a trail to the heart of your darkest fantasy, would you make it? Charlotte does, and her bold decision propels her into a world where no desire is too outrageous, decadent or extravagant to be satisfied, for a price. Her own fantasy life merges with reality when she is hired to work for the shadowy organisation she first encountered as a client. She organises an array of wild set pieces involving banquets, film productions, mansions full of pleasure slaves, as well as thoroughly researching those requests that chime with her own kinky tastes. Two men, one woman, and every sexual fantasy imaginable, these are the ingredients that make up the business of pleasure.

Justine Elyot is the author of the Black Lace title On Demand as well as a growing body of short fiction published by Black Lace, Xcite and Cleis Press. She likes to explore the dark side of desire in her writing. She lives by the sea.

This is NOT a novel

This is a collection of short stories, some have the same characters but pretty much it is just random acts of sex under various conditions. It is not at ALL like the blurb, it is not one story about a woman who calls a number and winds up working for the "the number". There are a couple of stories about that intermixed with random fantasies of totally unrelated people.

I NEVER get short stories; I want an 8 hour book because I want to hear an 8 hour story, so basically the blurb lied about what this was.

To further exasperate me the narration is HORRIBLE! If you can imagine the chipper voice of Angela Lansbury in thick English accent describing things you NEVER want to hear her describe have a good idea of what is going on in the book. Also, the male voices are chipper English accents, not smooth at all, almost like it was a stage actor yelling for an audience to hear...ICK! Also, there are numerous British references and slang, and not just knickers for panties but a lot of references that I had never heard of...guess it's a cultural thing.

Could not have been more disappointed in this book…turned it off half way through, couldn't deal with it anymore.
