I had high hopes for this book - I’ve been eagerly awaiting Colin’s story - but it felt flat, a bit choppy and harder to connect with. It’s a nice romance but not exceptional like some of the books in this series or others the author has done. Really felt like I was setting us up for future series rather than tying this one with a nice bow.

Betrothal ring. 😊 In this enjoyable installment Colin finally succumbs. honestly I thought his tale would be book 8 but glad to see he found his other half.
I am horrified at how many awful nasty people there are in the world. and glad that at least in literature they do not succeed.
can't wait for the next installment, perhaps this one is Kit and Maryannes turn? I hope to find out more about The Gent 😊
