Timothy lived a life only a psychopathic sociopath could enjoy and understand. When he was bitten on the first day of the zombie-apocalypse he turned the tides on a single-minded virus he affectionately called Hugh. Together they terrorized a city before seemingly meeting their untimely demise. Nobody could have foreseen his resurrection. Tim's close call with death has done nothing to temper his missions in life, to live, to eat and to rule the world. Tim is back and he's an asshole.

Publisher's Summary
During the highly improbable zombie uprising of 2013, the fearless American bulldog Riley quickly discovered that it was up to her to keep the pack safe. Together with Yorkshire terrier Ben-Ben and former archenemy Patches the cat, Riley struggles to keep the zombies at bay while helping her favorite human, Jessie, as they travel cross-country, dodging pepper paint balls and taser blasts from the evil, misogynistic Icely and his band of thugs.
Now this motley mishmash of mammals are running for their lives. The wicked Icely has picked up their scent and is now chasing them across the badlands of Colorado in hopes of seeking revenge - a painful one at that - on the dog that tried to kill him, as well as on the "bitches" who got away. Seen through the eyes of a random narrator and Riley, we have to wonder: Will Icely and his men chase them down and zap them into oblivion? Or will the zombies finally win and get the brains they desperately crave?

3 kinds of...
What made the experience of listening to The Book of Riley: A Zombie Tale Pt. 3 the most enjoyable?
I loved every moment of the first three books, with the 3.99 download special from audible after we purchased the Kindle edition. So, I have to tell you, that I think it is 3 kinds of bullcrap that you hold the last book out for full price, after luring us all in with the special price on the first 3. Shame on you
Would you be willing to try another book from Mark Tufo? Why or why not?
see above
Have you listened to any of Sean Runnette’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Runette is good, Audible sucks
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
yes, the moment I realized that Audible was going to try to soak me for full price on the last book.
Any additional comments?
kiss my rose red arse.

Walking Dead meets The Incredible Journey
Have you listened to any of Sean Runnette’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Runnette is fantastic as always.
Any additional comments?
This is as good if not better than Tufo's other z series. You will love this series if you are an animal lover, or a zombie lover, and if you are both you just can't miss this. Very detailed, great animal characters, and on the edge of your seat zombie action. Ever wonder what your dog or cat is really thinking when they are barking at nothing or randomly slapping you with a claw? This series gives you a pretty good idea what might be going on in their furry little heads!

Another Wonderful Tufo Book
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend The Book of Riley, and I have to many people. I love the way that Mark Tufo brings his characters to life.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Riley and Ben-Ben. I like how they react to each other.
What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I can sit back, close my eyes and almost see what's happening when Sean reads the story. Like my own personal movie.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Loved the whole thing!
Any additional comments?
I'm beginning to wonder if Patches doesn't have history with Mrs. D. from ZF. There are times she sounds a lot like her. Got to love that cat!

Tufo wouldn’t be Tufo if he didn’t wring emotions
I have enjoyed Mark Tufo’s books immensely – he has never disappointed. I was a bit skeptical at first about “seeing” the zombie apocalypse through an American bulldogs eyes, but I should have known that Tufo does NOT disappoint (I’m sure the word is NOT in his vocabulary!).
This is part 3 in a series of novellas. Jess and Zack are humans struggling to reach Mike Talbott’s family (see Zombie Fallout Series to meet this fun and adventuresome family). Continuing her travels Jess, with the help of Riley, Patches (the cat) and BenBen (a Yorkshire Terrier pup), she has to make sure her less than 2 year old brother makes it there alive.
In this part, they break free from the evil villain, Icely, and takes one of his brides to freedom. Along the way this strange pack encounters zombies and decent folks who try to help them. No one is really prepared to battle Icely and his thugs who are hunting them down. In Icely’s mind, no one gets away especially a “bitch.”
Of course, Tufo wouldn’t be Tufo if he didn’t wring emotions out of his readers – you will laugh (and find yourself craving bacon), cheer, gasp, and cry all in sitting. He weaves his magic so that you become entrenched with his characters and his plot – there is no escaping his writing style! You will find yourself immersed in this horrifying zombie apocalypse where luck has fled and fighting alongside the pack until the end.

Run Riley Run!
Ok this book definitely was not long enough ther was so much more I need to hear before it ended. This was action packed and still not a fan of the humans, those I like usually die, do something stupid or I just flat out hate them. Doesn’t seem to be much middle ground for our species. Not much else can be said without ruining the story so I’m going to start book 4 and leave you with the command.... Sit, Read, Good Human 😺

Great new installment. I was sad to see a couple new characters go!! It was nice that they met someone who was good. The use of grenades was hilarious overkill. I loved Koala’s truck driver comment! Small world.
