About this listen
A Ranger is Forged
The next chapter in the war against Sût the Undying and the Nether Sorcerer unfolds against the backdrop of what it takes to become a US Army Ranger.
The Rangers' next objective takes them on an odyssey of desperate survival and relentless combat through the Desert of Sleep, a savage and strange land...and a gateway to hell. Here the forces of darkness fester, here the elements of the Rangers must go on the ultimate patrol, and here is where the End War begins.
©2021 Jason Anspach & Nick Cole (P)2022 WarGate Booksthis is like sitting in an American therapy circle as people get their ptsd off their shoulders. it might work for some but it is an absolute slog for others.
the writer needs a teaspoon of cement and a good editor to help them start at the start and work through the story while adding the good and colourful world building and removing 90% of the following references;
coffee, warts and all, the constant repetition of ranger this and ranger that.
it detracts from the story so badly that I am unable to recommend this book series to anyone unwilling to get the kindle as this voice actor butchers what little good is left.
Great Story poorly executed
