A slow burner but excellent

Well a story with a difference. Very well written. A bit confusing initially but all is revealed. Would have been nice to have a final reunion.

Brilliant characters - so real ‘ll

Catherine Chidgey is such a talented writer, her characters come to life and I often find myself mulling over what has happened or what will happen next.
Loved The Axeman’s Carnival and this was also a standout. You find yourself thinking about it weeks later! Very clever author 🌟
