Yep great book and great narrating! The story really gets going in this second book great to listen to I'm glad that I stuck out the first book that the other awful narrator.

This series seems to be better the second time around. Because I know when it gets bogged down with the long drawn out battles, I can faze out knowing I won't miss any actual story line.
I am going to try book 3 fingers crossed that I can do the same with that one as there is a lot of repeating themes in that one.

I was probably going to not continue the series as I didn’t really like the magic and wasn’t sure about getting behind a fat little red haired kid BUT it was great. Book one is probably all about world building but book 2 is where it comes to life. I really look forward to the rest of the series now. Also, the performance was great! An easy voice to listen to.

I listened to the first book and was left wondering which of the Guile brothers was the ‘good’ one? That is answered in this book to some degree but there are still unanswered questions.

The narrator is top notch….. one of the best I’ve come across.

I’m looking forward to book 3!

wow i love this book. i couldn't stop! i really enjoyed the first book but this one is even better, with the characters developing nicely and the plot getting very intricate.
