About this listen

The experiences of our connected and mystic self, the self that lives in the dimensions of the beyond, are our birthright, our pre-domesticated state, our inborn way of being, knowing, seeing, and feeling, prior to indoctrination, teachings, and conditioning. It is our most wild and free epistemology and ontology. These are the intrinsic capacities of our mystic self. They make themselves known loudly in childhood and live on in timeless experiences of wonder, awe, parapsychological encounters, the voice of our intuition, moments of creativity, mysticism, love, compassion, curiosity, connection, and feelings of oneness.

These experiences appear and reappear through life in different forms, calling us back to nature, calling us back to ourselves and to a place that exists beyond the dullness of Western modernized day-to-day life. These experiences show up in different spaces, experiences, and relationships, most clearly within our engagement with the natural world. This treatise explores the correlation between the two and examines the various calls to the wild we receive, and ways of listening.
