Mark has a billion dollar ranch operation that takes many employees to run successfully. He loses his cook and leaves it to his father to find a new one. Little does Mark know that Joseph is far more interested in her marriage potential than her cooking skills. Luckily, he finds a woman who can not only cook, but will make the perfect bride for his son. Emily Jackson is on the run from someone who wants to take her five year old son from her. She ends up in a small town in Washington and is thrilled to find an ad in the paper for a live in cook. When she starts work at the beautiful ranch, sparks fly with her new boss, who is sexier than any cowboy has the right to be. Best in the series! In fact, skip books 1 & 2!

If you have already listen to or read the first two books in the Billionaire Bachelor series, this one is much different and a welcome change for me personally. I was tired of the pig-headed, demanding, and at times, downright offensive male leads in the first two books. (We can have an Alpha male without the misogyny... am I right ladies??)

This book is a breath of fresh air, with a strong lead characters, set on a ranch and far removed from the ridiculousness of the original plot line of Joseph and his emotionally challenged eldest sons.

My advice? Skip books one and two and just read this book as a stand alone! It's very sweet and steamy especially if you're into ranchers ;)

A different kind of brother

After listening to the first two books where the older brothers were arrogant pricks, I honestly didn’t know what to expect from Mark. Mark is just special. He is everything his brothers aren’t. Then other brothers finally grew up enough to realize they were in love with their wives. But Mark didn’t have to grow up. He knew and had know problem when it was time to tell her. He didn’t force her to do stuff. He helped her and asked her if she wanted his help instead of cramming it down her throat as his brothers did with their wives. As heroes go, Mark is a real winner. This book definitely is not one you want to miss. To know what’s going on, listening to the first two books is helpful. However, if you want to pick just one from the series, this should be it.

Awesome!!!!!!

I loved this book couldn't put it down. Joseph was successful in finding wives for his sons Lucas and Alex, but now his focus was on his youngest son Mark and he had the perfect woman. Mark needed a live-in housekeeper and cook in his ranch, Joseph did the interviews since Mark was too busy. Emily was hoping not to blow this interview because she needed to stay away from her ex in-laws because they wanted to take her five year old son Trevor from her. Joseph gave her the job and that same day Emily and her son moved in. When Emily first saw Mark she couldn't believe how gorgeous he was and Mark couldn't stop staring at Emily. After meeting his entire family and noticed that everyone liked her son she felt happy. One day Emily received roses but they weren't from Mark then she kept getting letters, but she only told Mark when one of the letters really scared her. When Mark's friend Chad a military intelligence agent came to investigate he soon found out evidence in one of the helpers room, but when the police took him Chad couldn't help but think something was not right. When Emily got served by her ex in-laws Mark quickly told Emily that they would marry and with no other choice she agreed. One day Mark had to leave out of town and everyone else were gone doing chores so Emily went to the barn to check on the kittens, but then she heard a noice and before she could see who it was everything went dark.

GREAT NARRATION!!

This review is from: The Billionaire Falls (Billionaire Bachelors - Book 3) (Kindle Edition) RE READ ON MAY 20th 2020 After re reading I have changed by rating to 4 stars. I like the story much better after the 2nd read! The Billionaire Falls was a bit of a disappointment. I never complain about this in my reviews, but this book was sorely in need of an editor. Melody Anne didn't bother to write a story that made any sense and that flowed. Mark is a billionaire in his own right and he is the younger son of the billionaire Joseph Anderson. Joseph has matched his other two sons Lucas and Alex with there wives and now it Marks turn. He matches Mark with a young widow who is on the run with her 5yr. old son. Her in laws want to take custody of Trevor away from her and they have a court order She refers to them as ex in laws. She didn't divorce her husband before he died in a auto accident so why refer to them as EX. It was just a poor choice of language. She also refers to her deceased husband as EX instead of deceased. Joseph and his family show up repeatedly in the story but where is Catherine the mother. She is mention 2 times in the entire story. She didn't even have any kind of banter in the story with Emily. She was present in bk1 and 2 and spent time with Amy and Jessica her daughter in laws. Then there is this stalker that comes from nowhere and kidnaps Emily. Mark and his hands find her very quickly before any harm can come to her. The scenario with the in laws or Trevor's grandparents and the Stalker were just poorly written. I guess it was too add drama to the story but It failed, This was not a well written story in either scenarios. I did like Emily's character, but it was unbelievable that she was married to a rich man and had never been to a spa. Mark was great with Emily and Trevor and I like his character. I don't think we even know Emily's dead husband's name. This story was just poorly done. I am glad it was Free!! Don't Pay for this Book. It is not worth it.
