Very good, but not really what it says it is.

This is very good, though not really what I thought it would be. The audio is very well read, clear and a pleasure to listen to. Once down loaded it is in six parts so for example Part 5 runs from September to the beginning of November, then each day is listed, so very easy to find the reading for todays date. I have to admit I was expecting more of a Bible commentary to listen to as I read and studied the Bible. What Mr Gumbel does here is presents a kind of 'thought for the day' based around a bible reading from the New and Old Testaments and Psalms. So throughout the year the Bible has been referenced each day. This leaves me still looking for a Bible commentary / study. However, having said that this recording is a pleasure to listen to and I am very pleased I ordered it. I listen to each days reading every day - each one is about ten minutes long.
