I had to listen to the story twice to get a good picture of the characters in my head. The story produces very positive emotions and will appeal to dreamers and believers in magic. I would have preferred the story to be narrated by a woman but that may be just a personal preference. I hope this book and its following series can be produced in an illustrated hard copy as this would really bring the story to life and would be a great gift for a child in the nominated age group.
