Publisher's Summary

A New York Times best seller!

An Amazon Best Children's Book of the Month from the New York Times best-selling author of the Goodnight Already! series

This is a book about a bad seed. A baaaaaaaaaad seed. How bad? Do you really want to know?

He has a bad temper, bad manners, and a bad attitude. He’s been bad since he can remember! This seed cuts in line every time, stares at everybody, and never listens. But what happens when one mischievous little seed changes his mind about himself, and decides that he wants to be - happy?

With Jory John’s charming and endearing text, here is The Bad Seed: a funny yet touching tale that reminds us of the remarkably transformative power of will, acceptance, and just being you. Perfect for listeners young and old, The Bad Seed proves that positive change is possible for each and every one of us.

good book for the young one in your life

Fun children's book about a Bad Seed. Illustrations are charming. Text is simple. Message is accepting and encouraging - how a bad seed might, just might, want to be nice sometimes. But let's not overdo it, sometimes he still is grumpy.

Great book for the 3-8yo in your life.

Enjoyed it

My 6-year-old likes to pull out the physical copy of the book that we have and read the book with the story on audible. It brings the story to lof. Very cute.

It's okay

I'm much older than the intended audience, and I thought the gist of the story was great!

Adorable

Adorable and a favorite “personally” of my daughter and I. I love this narrator anyway and he is a perfect seed! Now we have the book for my grandson and the seed story can continue to the next generation. Are you a good seed or a bad seed? :)))))))

Short but sweet.

This is a really cute little story with great narration by Andrew Eiden. My son enjoyed it.
