Welcome to the inside-out world of Mitchell and Webb, a strange and surreal place populated by misfits, eccentrics, talking animals and a few stray Radio 4 arts programme presenters. Included here are all five series of their fantastically skewed comedy show, packed with offbeat sketches and peculiar characters. Meet seedy snooker commentators Ted and Peter; poorly matched crime-fighting duo Angel Summoner and BMX Bandit; a cop who doesn't get results but, by God, he does things by the book; and some nervous Nazis who've just noticed their caps have skulls on them.

Story
Somewhere on the frontier between thought and reality exists the Discworld, a parallel time and place that might sound and smell very much like our own, but which looks completely different. Particularly as it’s carried though space on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown). It plays by different rules. But then, some things are the same everywhere. The Disc’s very existence is about to be threatened by a strange new blight: the world’s first tourist, upon whose survival rests the peace and prosperity of the land.

Its fast paced with plenty in it
Would you listen to The Audiobook of the Year again? Why?
Yes. There is a lot to take in, and it moves pretty fast
What did you like best about this story?
What story?
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
English accents
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
I'd say it was written by Quentin Tarantino. I like him and his name will grab headlines. The film would make loads of money, and I'd get a promotion. In a few years I'd be in a position of power and would be making enough money to finance an impressive coke habit

QI Elves Doing What They Do Best!
If you listen to the 'No Such Thing As A Fish' podcast then this book will not be new to you. I find that over the years the amount of crazy and unbelievable facts about life on this planet and beyond are worth a second or third visit and so this book is one that you can listen to over and over and still find funny, informative and in some cases quite mind boggling! Good fun.
