Lot's of gold nuggets

I bought this book to pass time (similar to one of the other reviewers). I generally read / listen to a lot of self-help books and make mental notes to eventually review them. But I was inspired to "take action" upon finishing this. Is this book life transforming? No. But let's be realistic; it's less than 1.5 hours. Instead, it felt a bit like a summary for the nearly 40 books I've finished this year (a list that ranges from Make Your Bed to Eat the Frog). Very few things he said were new to me. However, the way he wrapped them up together was kind of the boost I needed to act on some of the other lessons I learned. The reason why I gave it a 4 overall is that I felt that the author could go into a bit more detail regarding actionable steps.

Also, this has nothing to do with my rating, but I feel the format for this book is probably best in Kindle or physical form because that allows you to take better notes. For listeners of this book who want a bit more meat to go on, I recommend you look up the Kaizen method regarding the implementation of small goals into your life.

Much better than expected

Downloaded to pass time, and got a lot of great info... even inspired! I’ll check out more of his stuff. Not all revelations... but good stuff!

Quite full of BS

This book is at least 50% BS. Speaking from the first third of it. The author begins with 5 regrets of dying people. One of them being "I wish I didn't work so hard" then proceeds to promise that he's going to give solutions to those problems.
In the next chapters he points out how important it is to work towards our goals and give them more out of our energy. "Shoot for the starts, land on the moon" is one of the principles he advocates but.. wait.. wasn't too much work a regret of dying people he aimed to solve. I call that BS. You either advocate one thing or the other, not contradict yourself and only use pretty words. It was a good sale and a terrible product. I am going to ask for my money back. Hope audible returns it to me. This books is not worth it. Don't buy.
