Lily, you predictable perv. I knew you'd open this email faster if I tempted you with a glimpse of JT's "PP". Well, put your pants back on and grab some bubbly because I have much better news to share.

I got a job!

As of tomorrow, I'll be the new executive assistant at Lorena Lefray Designs. I am so excited, but there's one itty bitty problem: I won't be Lorena's assistant. I'll be working for her older brother, Julian.

I know what you're thinking - "But Jo, what's the problem?"

Google him. Now. He's the man in the fitted navy suit whose face reminds you that there's hope yet for this cruel, ugly world. Keep scrolling.... Do you see those dimples? Yup. That's the Julian Lefray I will be reporting to tomorrow morning.

Lord, help us all....

XO,
Jo

Five Happy Stars overall!!!

This is the second book I have read in this series and I have to admit I love the humor Ms. Grey instills in her stories. Her heroine is not your typical barbie doll type, but a flawed human embarking on a career. True the love interests help them get their start ..... but the narration is good, the story is light hearted and fun. I did not mind using a credit for either book. This book is a feel good, humorous listen!!

Refreshingly witty & fun!

"Why did the chicken cross Julian Lefray's abs?.....To Get Laid!!"
Loved Julian & Josephine's story! A fun look into the fashion world and an undeniable attraction between two people who should be off limits! Great characters throughout the book.
Can't wait for Dean & Lily's story!

Cute

Not as funny or as steamy as some other RS Grey but the story line was cute and still plenty of chemistry and funny banter between characters.

A fun story

This is an easy breezy listen without any drama or angst. I really enjoyed the premise of a young woman from a small town in Texas moving all the way to New York City to make it big as a fashion blogger. The characters were endearing and the narrators did a fantastic job bringing them to life.

Enjoyable Fast Paced Romance

Over a year ago I read "The Allure of Dean Harper" and was so happy with that book that I sought out more books by author R.S. Grey in hopes for another fun romance to get caught up in. I found The Allure of Julian Lefray and placed it on my Wish List. I am glad I did. It was entertaining and sometimes Laugh Out Loud funny. It was charming and sometimes a bit steamy but mostly it was just filled with chemistry between the two love interest. Towards the end of the book do I realize that this book is actually the lead in book to "The Allure of Dean Harper" and introduces us to the next romance couple. Although I found this book entertaining and having me want to see what came next I didn't find it as all entertaining and HOT as I did with "The Allure of Dean Harper". It was good but slightly paled in comparisons.

If you are thinking of purchasing this book I say go ahead and do it. You will enjoy the ride. And then go ahead and purchase "The Allure of Dean Harper" for it only gets better in that story.

A Fun And Romantic Story!

Loved this story... Great story line with wonderful comedy and sexual tension. Julian is hot and sexy and Jo is lovely and fun. Only wish is for more and expanded sex scenes. We wait for so long for them to get together, but It is not covered much and sex is just referred to. Hope Grey will step this up and provide more sex and ease our sexual tension that we develop through the story. Great narrators and writing. Just give us more sex!

Too bad about the last bit.

It was quite a fun read. But the ending with an unneccessarily hysterically shouting Joesephine in the car and the ditch. Was just stupid at the end. Like Lily shouting and in disbelief about Julian, was over the top and unlike the tone of the rest of the book. Where there at least was more of a talking tone.

good story. wrong voice

the male voice was not fitting. sounds more like someone in their 50-60's. he would be best for other types of books.
