Eight weary film-makers, travelling from Paris to Basel, arrive at a small Swiss hotel on the shores of a luminous lake. Above them, strewn with lights that twinkle in the darkness, looms the towering Rigi mountain.

Over the course of three days and two nights, the travellers will find themselves drawn in to the mystery of the mountain reflected in the lake. One by one, they will be disturbed, enlightened, and transformed, each in a different way.

The story feels more like an essay than a story in the popular fiction sense. But having said that people who listen to this with the right mind set going in will get a lot out of it.
The first chapter reads 'some things only become clear much later' and that's how I felt by the end. But I didn't mind as I know this story will stay with me for years to come as I unpack its content bit by bit.
So give this a go and remember its not the destination but the journey that counts.
