I'm inspired to hear more from this quirky and of course classic duo. I did very much enjoy these readings by Derek Jakobi indeed. The investigations by Holmes and Dr Watson were made more addictive with the great quality put into them by Jakobi.

I’ve enjoyed Sherlock Holmes mysteries since childhood, when my family listened to a series of book readings on the radio every Sunday night. Derek Jacobi reads beautifully; the characters come alive, and he evokes the era by his pace and tone. He reads these tales just as Sherlock Holmes should be read.
