Do NOT Buy - Unforgivable audio mistakes

Why NOT to waste your time, money, or credits; 1) Narrator stutters 2) Narrator re-reads lines 3) Narrator mispronounces/or just plain says wrong word MANY times 4) Other people heard in background 5) Narrator sounds like a robot I believe Siri could read this book with more emotion. How does this even get "okay-ed" in production and put up for sale?!? The story had a bad YouTube "story time" feel to it, only...worse. Notice how the sample seems just ripped out of no where from the book as if it was the only 5 minute that sounded well produced - THAT'S BECAUSE IT WAS! I got got on this one. How is this okay to sale? How does no one correct the narrator on how to correctly say words, or to say "no that's not the word, its this word?!?" I have over 100 books in my Audible library. I've left one review aside from this one, and that was to rave about 'A Sucky Love Story' (highly recommend) But if this review saves at least one person from this book, then it was worth my cringe and disappointment with Audible.

Brutal.

I wasn't sure what to expect but this the most brutal revenge story I've heard on audiobook form. It's akin to I spit on your grave but with a teenager and her parents. Reviews stated that narration was bad, idk if it was fixed since those reviews but besides the word viola I didn't notice issues stated by others. If you like gruesome movies and can take listening about abuse I think this is a good listen for you. For the rest stay away.

What in the world?

I strongly suggest passing on this garbage. This book is nothing but poorly written snuff/torture smut. With a one dimensional plot, childish storyline and terrible grammar. The author perpetually refers to a head as “a dome” and the narrator, while pleasant to listen to, manages to mispronounce words like voila etc. I also find this book and story to be a hideous blot to the trials and tribulations of Sylvia Likens. Save your money. Don’t buy this garbage.

Terrible

This is a terrible book. It’s clearly some kind of sick fantasy of the author. The characters are shallow, the prose is clumsy and repetitive. There is no point to it or development of theme or character. It doesn’t portray any of the characters’ points of view. It’s just repetitive and immature descriptions of beating a teenage girl. The author’s arousal, on the other hand, is evident throughout. The narrator is monotonous and doesn’t read fluently.
