Publisher's Summary

Ashley Collins, a 16-year-old girl, has severe behavior issues. She regularly fights with her parents, Logan and Jane. When the fights become personal and physical, Logan and Jane decide to take matters into their own hands. They chain their daughter in the basement and abuse her in an attempt to rescue her from her bad behavior...while delving into their own deviance and depravity.

This is a story of family and abuse. This is a story of violence and discipline. This is the abuse of Ashley Collins.

Jon Athan, author of A Family of Violence, brings you an uncompromising vision of human horror. Can the cycle of abuse be broken?

This book does not feature any explicit sex scenes, but it does discuss sexual abuse. This book is not intended for those easily offended or appalled.

Do NOT Buy - Unforgivable audio mistakes

Why NOT to waste your time, money, or credits;

1) Narrator stutters
2) Narrator re-reads lines
3) Narrator mispronounces/or just plain says wrong word MANY times
4) Other people heard in background
5) Narrator sounds like a robot

I believe Siri could read this book with more emotion. How does this even get "okay-ed" in production and put up for sale?!? The story had a bad YouTube "story time" feel to it, only...worse.
Notice how the sample seems just ripped out of no where from the book as if it was the only 5 minute that sounded well produced - THAT'S BECAUSE IT WAS!
I got got on this one.
How is this okay to sale? How does no one correct the narrator on how to correctly say words, or to say "no that's not the word, its this word?!?"
I have over 100 books in my Audible library. I've left one review aside from this one, and that was to rave about 'A Sucky Love Story' (highly recommend)
But if this review saves at least one person from this book, then it was worth my cringe and disappointment with Audible.
