This book is the perfect

Living a child that has ADHD can be a struggle for parents and especially be debilitating because parents want to help, but feel helpless and uncertain what to do to help their child. This book provides practical advice to the teen on what to do to handle ADHD, show improvement in the daily routine and learn how to normalize your life despite having ADHD.

One of the best

This book is a great resource for teens to work through on their own and if they would like to share the information that they are working on with their parent, or another trusted adult, it would be a great start for important conversations.

Great Resource!

I have a teenage son with ADHD, with high anxiety who has just begun taking medication. I was excited to receive a copy of this book to review. I opened it up and was right away surprised at all the traits and things that popped out at me about my son (and me!).

I enjoyed this book

This is a key factor with management of any chronic condition, and unfortunately many families aren't paying enough attention to teaching teens how to learn to manage and thrive with what we know to be a life long condition.

Insightful book

My favorite book to recommend to parents, especially if they or their child are struggling with negative thoughts about ADHD. I work with a lot of children being newly diagnosed with ADHD and it can be overwhelming and downright depressing.

Very poor narration.

A usefull explanation of the condition and some good advice ruined primarily by an extremely poor choice of narrator. The almost cartoon like sing-song voice drawing out each syllable is very difficult to tolerate for long sessions. Disappointing.
