Let down was the way just took it
Rae was older (cougar), which was all good for me. I just was not satisfied with the way she treated Zach. He was younger and his demisexual position was interesting. I was just waiting the entire read for Rae to make a stand. Yes, she did make a stand in a sense but not the one that I thought would give her true satisfaction. She took too long to accept the relationship between her and Zach. I felt like she was waiting for it all to fall from under her. Another narration for Rupert and the feminine characters fell flat for me.

Happily Ever After but no closure
They story was good and hot and steamy but if you're the type of reader that needs a closure for lifestyles of the main characters, this book is not for you. Spoiler i would have liked to know how things went with the main character (Rae) and her mother after their fallout.

Pleasantly surprised
I downloaded this on a whim before a 6 hour drive and I have to say it was a decent choice. Usually at least one of tha main characters in these type of romance novels is absolutely insufferable and hard to like. Despite their personal issues, Rae & Zack are a good fit deserving of their happy ending. I got the feeling the reader should have known who the supporting characters (the friends) were from other books. However this is my first book from this author and not having read her other work did not take away from this story at all. The narrator was awesome.

Extra Nonsense
When there's a part where it's getting good, for example, when she's talking to her mother and she's about to go off, the story jumps to how her mother has always treated her, why she has allowed people to be mean to her. I was ready for her to just go off on her mother and get to the next part. There was a lot of that. Made me just forward past those places.

Wow!
I love, love, love this book! We get peeks at the characters we already know and love in addition to getting to know characters we’ve been previously introduced to. Talia just kept upping her game with this series, I hate to see it end! Ms. Hibberts version of the older woman younger man trope has so many wonderful twists along with the delectable slow burn she’s so good at. I adore Zack and Rae and all the feels they produced!

The Power of Love
That kind of Guy by Talia Hibbert Narrated by Rupert Channing Finally Zach’s story!! Another gorgeous Ravenswood’s man to fawn over. While I enjoyed learning more about Zach I actually missed the small townships gossiping busybodies. I thought they would make more of an appearance considering who Rae and Zach were. I also found this story to be a bit predictable and thus it held no surprises for me. And despite Rae being the older woman, she came across as immature. Having said that however, the steady build of friends to lovers was nice, and I love a happy ending. The narration by Rupert Channing did hold the usual flame for me, the man has a miraculous tongue. I look forward to reading more Talia Hibbert stories.

Lovely
I liked this series very much. I enjoy how the author develops her characters and the love scenes are fantastic! And, it’s the narrator that makes these books for me. He does such a wonderful job! One thing that’s helpful is that he doesn’t use odd accents or a strained voice for the women. You can feel the characters through him, their wants and needs! I’ll listen to whatever he narrates!
