Other than some repetitive lines throughout the book and the abrupt ending I found this to be a great read.
However I will warn that it is very predatory.

Typical trash of the Fifty Shades trope. Manipulative filthy rich man seduces improbably niave virgin. Slow build to the inevitable graphic intercourse scenes. Very unrealistic with disturbing power imbalances just made for desperate lonely women lol.

Manipulations never gets old.

I loved everything about this story and the spice was perfect!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ I heard about this book from Tierney.Reads and she was spot on!! I was looking for a series with similar spice and storyline to Ana Huang’s ‘twisted’ series and ‘kings of sin’ series and I think I found it … 👏

Great descriptive spicy scenes, but not sure I like the story about the kind of abuser boss towards the naive employee. Also I hope the MFC grows up and becomes less immature and paranoid as the series progresses. She’s a bit annoying.

I was not aware when I picked up this book that it was a 5-part series based on the same couple. I was a little disappointed not to know that going in.

I enjoyed how Henry seemed to know what he wanted and went after it. Abbi seemed very innocent and a bit naive through parts of the book.

I'm curious to see where this series will go. I hope Abbi grows into her confidence, and Henry unleashes his desires fully.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible.
