Publisher's Summary

"Here comes Trouble!" Colton took one look at the stripper on stage and knew that was exactly what Vida was: trouble. He had no desire to succumb to the young woman tantalizing men with her provocative movements and killer body with no intention of satisfying their fantasies. Fresh out of prison, his tattoo shop and getting rid of an aggravating ex were his first priorities, not a woman who should know better than to become involved in a situation that could get her killed. Vida will do anything to save her friend’s life, even if it includes stripping on stage and doing lap dances in the VIP room under her stage name Trouble. All the sensuous moves were just an illusion to gain the information she needed, even if it meant the men who watched thought she would keep the promises her body was making. Forced to sift through lies and betrayals, Colton discovers a woman who is as loving as she is loyal, but won't give him a chance. Vida, who tries to ignore the escalating passion between them, learns the hard way that some men shouldn’t be teased….

Tantalized, teased, titillating

The words here come to life and give a new meaning to sexy innocence.

Vida was strong and determined to find her life long friend. Colton wanted nothing to do with her, but there was just something about her.

Putting More Pieces Together

I’ve skipped around on some of the books os The Lost Riders and the secondary characters that are being brought into the series. Each person will have a story and all will be put together. Vida, is stripping in a club owed by a man, King, who is powerful and into illegal businesses...but she and her friends Sawyer and Callie were aware of as they grew up in the poor area of town. The three girls had single mothers, either widowed, abandoned or just worthless. Callie died in a fire at 8 and Sawyer and Veda made a pact to live better lives...but Sawyer disappears and Vida is determined to find her. Colton is released from prison, immediately King tells him he wants him to protect Vida from who took Sawyer until Sawyer is found. Each individual has a back story..all piecing together. Love the series..the women are great..the men pieces of rap until you get to know more about them and then they are redeemed. The narrator was fine...listening and reading all the stories in order to get the full impact..MCs, strippers, religion, military...so many things going on..but eventually love and faithfulness is found..redemption! human frailties.

Must Read Series!!!!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Teased to be better than the print version?

Yes, because it brings the characters to life and they seem so much more real and relatable.

Who was your favorite character and why?

King
Because he is so mysterious and at the same time you can tell he has a good hear heart even though he won't admit it.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Sawyer works at the tattoo shop.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was sad and funny at the same time.

Any additional comments?

This is a great beginning to a great series, J.B knows how to captivate her readers to keep coming back for more.

Can't believe I am rating a Jamie Begley book low

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I love Jamie Begley as an author. Have loved all of her books thus far - but for some reason this story just wasn't there for me.

What was most disappointing about Jamie Begley’s story?

This kills me to rate so low - since I really really like Jamie Begley - but this story seemed to drag on and on. I think if it would have been shorten or if the few things that came up - were resolved it would have been better. I will continue on with the series and hope that the next few are better.

Fantastic book, Jamie Begley does it again.

So I love Jamie Begley's books and this ones doesn't let her down. This book is up there with the best of them. I love Colton and Vida and their story.

Colton made a decision three years again which has affected his life, for the worse. Tessa was pregnant with his child and she wouldn't cope with prison. After three years in prison, he got his freedom back, his tattoo shop and Tessa was soon to be his ex-wife. Colton had a debt to repay with King and now King is collecting. King wants Colton to look after a stripper called Vida.

Vida's mum Goldie used to strip for King at his club. Her mum told her that if she ever had any problems, she was to go to King. Vida's best friend Sawyer was kidnapped and she needed help. So she went to King, King said he would help but Vida would have to strip, so strip she did until Colton came into her life.

This book had me on the edge of my seat from the start to the end.

I would recommend Jamie Begley's books.

Abrupt ending

I do love Jamie Begley's books, however. the ending seemed to finish abruptly and I found myself rewinding twice to see if I had missed anything before the epilogue.
