this was alright in my opinion
his didn't get great reviews but I went ahead anyway as I like Ms Glenns writing. don't want to give out spoiler so I'll just say there was a nice little twist in the story. but this twist is exactly what the hero needed....say no more😊😊
there are some cheesy bits, some tepid bits for an MC story but like the first book, the writing establishes light MC so that's what you get. characters have a history to their name and the characters from book 1 pop up so that's always nice to hear.
there wasn't known all that well so it was nice to hear his story. Maxine and Joe are fantastic narrator's so you can't go wrong there

Fun and entertaining
I love Maxine and Joe's voices and their proformances. I hope I don't run out of books narrated by them as I have given up trying to listening to books read by others.
A fun entertaining story. Nice to listen to a shorter one for a change.

Good fun story
I liked the first book but this one was even better.
The main characters were good together and believable. There was even a moment I had tears in my eyes.
Narrators are great as always. Thoroughly enjoyed and will read the next one in the series.

It was okay
I really enjoyed the first book. This one just dragged on a bit (considering the short length it wasn't a good sign). Interesting to have a blind character though. Great narration. Not a keeper for me though.
