About this listen
Since the doldrums of the COVID pandemic, I have journaled to document my reflections. The collection of poems in Tears from the Abyss has been curated from my journal. Each poem is a rendering of an actual experience, which I invite the listener to interpret and uncover.
The poems render a spectrum of dark emotions, from heartache to regret to longing, among others. The abstract language used is purposeful, with the aim of creating a puzzle for the listener to solve.
Tears from the Abyss focuses on my most somber moments, placing into relief the wounds I have inflicted, as well as those I have suffered.
