Publisher's Summary

From a New York Times and USA Today best-selling author of science fiction and paranormal romance comes another story full of action, adventure, and suspense to transport listeners out of this world. Tansy, the middle daughter of the three Bell sisters, has always been a little different, even for a Bell. Like a chameleon, she can change her appearance and personality to blend in almost anywhere, and she uses this talent to bring to justice some of the worst criminals in the world.

Mak 'Tag Krell Manok is the wild one of his four brothers. He is known for his huge size, hot temper, fierce strength, and skills as a warrior. Few men in any galaxy dare to challenge him and live. Frustrated by his failure to find females compatible with a Prime male, he returns to his home world only to discover his oldest brother has found his bond mate in an unusual species known as a human. What is even more astonishing is Mak's reaction to an image of the sister of his brother's bond mate.

Mak has set a new course for Earth and for Tansy, the female who stirs his blood to fire. But first he has to find her. Next he has to convince her she belongs to him. And if all else fails, he will just take her. After all, she is delicate and fragile - no match for a Prime warrior. What Mak doesn't expect is to find her in trouble and fighting for her life. Now he must save her before it is too late. But even then there is no guarantee that she will come with him, for this small, fragile female has the strength and determination of 20 Prime males and values her independence.

Mak is about to learn that big trouble can come in very small packages and that there is one person in the universe not afraid to stand up to him - even if she is afraid to love him. Can he keep her alive long enough to realize she is the perfect mate for an untamed warrior, or will the men determined to kill her take not only her life but his as well?

Bought this book by accident.

What an enjoyable listen. I accidentally bought this book and I am happy I did. A love story about an alien and humans. Had some funny moments.

Great story that really comes across in audible.

Great story that really comes across in audible.
The dark side of life is more graphic listening than reading. Tansy really comes across stronger and more dedicated in audible but Tansy’s go it alone attitude towards the end, though understandable to a certain degree, grates a bit.
Who would take on the baddies by yourself when you have a 7’ prime warrior to help you? Just too silly an attitude.
Narrator does use the wrong name in one place.
BOOK REVIEW
One of my favourites in this series even though it is dealing with a horrible subject.
Tansy is the warrior of the Bell sisters. Ever since Hannah was kidnapped and came back a different person, Tansy had known she was going to try to make a difference in the world and help stop slave trafficking.
Hurt and believing her end is coming Tansy phones home to tell her family she loves them and say goodbye.
Cosmos though is able to send her the help she needs. In Tansy’s own words ‘It would take a friggin’ warrior from outer space’ to save her. Just what Cosmos has right beside him.
Mak has known Tansy was his bond mate from the first time he saw her in a photo. Mak is one of the toughest and strongest Prime Warriors of his people, he stands over seven feet tall and is all muscle. Just the right person to send to Tansy’s aid.
He races to her rescue through the gateway and saves her but they need to travel long haul back giving us another great story.
Mak has some self-confidence issues with women due to his size. They are either afraid of him or prostitutes tolerate him for his payment.
Tansy doesn’t even flinch from him and has no problem standing up to Mak and getting in his face. Tansy may be only five foottall but she is just as much a warrior as Mak is.
These two make a really great strong team, both stubborn with strong moral beliefs and the ability to get things done.
Tansy’s go it alone attitude towards the end, though understandable to a certain degree, grates a bit. Who would take on the baddies by yourself when you have a 7’ prime warrior to help you.
Just too silly an attitude.
Loved the ending for the ratbags Tansy was dealing with.
