Public Domain (P)2015 Red Door AudiobooksWould you try another book written by the authors or narrated by Cathy Dobson?
Written by the same authors, sure, I bought it because of the authors. I would not listen to a book of the same genre at least narrated by Cathy Dobson. Her pacing was terrible and threw me off listening to the full audiobook before managing to make it through the first short story. Her perfermonce was jittery at best, it would better suit a lymmerick for the jilting pattern she adopts.Would you recommend Tales of Horror and Suspense to your friends? Why or why not?
I would recommend they try the same book, but not narrated by Cathy Dobson for reasons I stated beforeWho might you have cast as narrator instead of Cathy Dobson?
I don't know many narratters, let alone of the eerie/creepy style of story you'd expect from authors like Lovecraft and Poe. Someone with a steadier, more commanding voice and performence. You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I love the authers I know of the list, and have enjoyed their work. I'm sure there are great stories to experience here, but I just couldn't get through them, and they would have been ruined for me if I tried pressing myself through.Any additional comments?
I wouldn't recommend purchasing this audiobook to anyone.Terrible performence
