Great story and entirely understandable until the very end. I don't want to give anything away but does anyone else think an additional chapter was needed?

I've really enjoyed Sabine Durrant and eagerly anticipated this book. I pretty much devoured it in two sittings over a weekend, but the ending... I have no idea what just happened. What was the point of all that suspense and tension around Dave? Don't really want to provide spoilers but I was left feeling a bit cheated out of a better ending and wondering if there was an epilogue or something I missed.

Sadly not recommended. Great premise, great narration and enjoyable pace but rubbish in the end.
