About this listen

What might happen if a superior race of humans was genetically engineered?

How would it be engineered? What would they look like? How would they interact with other humans? How would they change society?

Synthetics Rising is the story of an experiment to create better humans. The idea is to engineer humans who are not prone to making selfish, irrational, and emotional decisions-individuals capable of leading the world with logic and reason. Their genes are designed to make them not only highly intelligent and athletic but also unselfish, rational, and especially objective.

The designers go so far as to remove their genitalia, believing that sexual desire makes humans irrational and slaves to their emotions. These superior beings are called Synthetics.

As they grow up, the Synthetics quickly prove their abilities and rise to the top of every field. For this, they are hated by regular humans, who recognize their own inferiority. This hatred leads to conflict-three wars in total: two on Earth and one in outer space. These battles will ultimately decide the fate of mankind.
