Publisher's Summary

Everyone knows Brooke Wicks loves to have a good time. She’s not interested in getting serious, settling down, or limiting herself to one man. So when she meets the sexy, irresistible Mason King, she sees another opportunity to let loose and go wild. But the gorgeous Aussie isn’t interested in just a quick fling with Brooke, and if she wants to get into his bed, she’s going to have to do it on his terms.

Loving fast and hard has always been Mason’s philosophy. He doesn’t want a meaningless connection; he wants it all, and he wants it with Brooke. When she makes her one desire known - to hit it and quit it - Mason wages a plan to ensure Brooke keeps coming back for more. Or so he hopes. Getting her attention was the easy part. Keeping it might be damn near impossible.

somewhat disapointed

I must say I was looking forward to this book but the story was a bit of a disappointment and the terrible Australian accent made it even worse !! the narrator sounded Newzelander not Australian it got too repetitive in parts and even a bit boring

Great story, horrible accents!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The Australian accents from both narrators are terrible. A really bad mixture of Aussie, English, American and South African in each sentence!

Any additional comments?

I've enjoyed each book in this series, and enjoyed the Audible narrations of the first two books, but, as an Australian, I just couldn't get past the terrible accents in this story's narration. I couldn't finish listening to it.

Brilliant

Brooke has been tamed. I couldn't get enough of this story. Although the lady narrator had an Australian accent when reading Mason's parts unlike the guy, his was New Zealand accent. but it didn't take away from the writing that delivers such greatnes. I want a yoga guy too if not a relentless man like mason.

Surprisingly good

I read the first 2 books in the series and didn't bother reviewing them as they were neither here nor there for me. This book however stands on its own. It's refreshing having a female character that has enjoyed life to the fullest and isn't going out looking for love. There's barely any technical sex scenes but plenty of other good stuff. The narrators did a great job impersonating Aussie accents and read the book well. It was funny and the characters were very likeable. Will reread.

Great then boring then great then boring, etc

I'm a big romantic and I love steamy stories, which this one definitely fulfilled. However, this story had some good parts but others dragged on just too much for my interest. If given the chance, it's not one I would "re-read".

Love those Aussies

As much as Brook’s behavior was like a roller coaster Mason was rock steady. It was a sweet story that I really enjoyed

Pretty awful performance!

Holly Chandler, the narrator was a huge turn off as I listened to this book. I made it through the book, but it was painful! After the first two books were so fun to listen to, this one was a GIANT disappointment!!!

Love the Aussies

I enjoyed better the 1st & 2nd book. I liked this one and I get the point that the author wanted to make us see things from another perspective. When women are the ones who likes sex and enjoy having it and not w. the same man. Usually, it's the man that is the womanizer or record himself having sex with the women he has been. And when the woman learn about this, it's like she has to accept it bc this was before they met and "men have needs." But when it's the other way around, they go all caveman crazy and it's like the end of the world and can't accept it. Women also "have needs" and not everyone is the same. Brook enjoys been single and having fun. Of course, 'till feelings get involved. Of course, whether you're a man or a woman, when you love someone, getting an image of this person having sex with another that's not you, jealousy takes over. But women tend to reason better than men in scenarios like this. Thank God for friends like Joey. 😀

Too boring

I wanted to listen to this one because of Alabama Summer and wanted to know what happened to Mason after he left. I was very disappointed with this story, it was so boring I kept fast forwarding. I didn't at the few first chapters but I couldn't take it and kept skipping parts of the story.

Stop at #2

Free and not worth it. Brooke and Mason are two pretend adults who are both messed up immature horrible people. Mason comes off all perfect, but without a spine or knowing how to be an actual adult, it is hard to respect him. Brooke is so lucky to have been saved time and time again by Dylan and her sister. At some point acting like she was smarter than a 3rd grader would have been nice. Really liked books 1 and 2 of the series. An entire book about Brooke was a waste of time. Totally needed to wash up after reading. ugh.

Enjoyable

J Daniels is a relatively new author to me. This is the third and final book I the series. I have listened to narrators J.F.Harding and Holly Chandler before and their performance, particularly J.F.Harding’s was entertaining. This story was like a roller coaster with the heroine Brooke Wicks who was all over the place and at times I got a tad confused although I did like the hero, Mason King. There was plenty of steamy moments but at times I felt the story line lacked substance, but then that is just my opinion.

Sweet Obsession

"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review." Awesome book and narration!! Role reversal at its hottest!!! If you want a book that has the hot man being the perfect gentleman and the chick being “courted” this is it.

Bored

I was expecting this to get juicy quick like her other books, but the teasing went on and on until I finally just forwarded to the end. Glad this is the end of this series.

OMG his voice!!!

I have already read this book and loved it, but thought I'd download the audio version to listen to in the gym and I wasn't disappointed. Mason's voice is so sexy and the chemistry seems even better when you're listening to it. This book got me to love going to the gym and made me spend longer exercising than normal, I'd definitely recommend!
