It’s the summer of 1984 in the sleepy town of Lakeshore Falls, where nothing ever happens—until a meteor crashes deep into the forest. Four best friends—armed with Polaroid cameras, Walkmans, and flashlights—set off to investigate. But this is no ordinary meteor. It’s an ancient artifact that warps time, reality, and memory. As reality shifts around them, they uncover strange creatures, cryptic symbols, and signs that the artifact has awakened something.
A sinister government agent urges them to leave it alone, but it’s too late. With time unraveling and their friendships fracturing, the kids must race against the encroaching darkness to reset everything before the “black star” swallows their town whole.
