Publisher's Summary

Tim Ferriss is the author of The 4-Hour Workweek, a New York Times best seller that incorporates the Pareto Principle and Parkinson’s Law into a lifestyle of reduced working hours and more personal free time.

After graduating from Princeton University, where he earned a degree in East Asian studies, Tim started his first business selling nutritional supplements at the age 23. Since selling his business, he has become a Guinness Book of World Records holder in tango and a host of his own program on the History Channel.

The 4-Hour Workweek is Tim Ferriss’ first book. Detailing his personal experiences of success and failures in ‘lifestyle design", the book provides listeners with a clear road map on how to outsource mundane work and reduce clutter and information overload to create smooth income streams and more free time.

The author believes that pursuing dreams and goals now is more important than deferring them until after retirement, and his book promotes a variety of lifestyle design options that give listeners exciting alternatives to the ordinary nine-to-five routine.

I recommend this book to all my friends.

I recommend this book to all my friends constantly, it goes beyond just concepts and it actually gives you the ground work to get started. This is one of those books that will go beyond teaching you something, it will teach you how to implement what it is teaching you as well! Loved it!!!

I read "rich dad poor dad" right before this book.

I read "rich dad poor dad" right before this book so I was already in the right mind set of working towards financial freedom. This book is geared more towards action and putting its teachings into play in real life.

Well explained, thought provoking.

Well explained, thought provoking, but understand this, if you are looking for an overnight fix for your woes? not going to happen. Tim's instructions and concepts are well thought out but you WILL have to put effort into results. For those seeking easy riches and wealth beyond their imagining? not going to happen.. you will have to put forth time and effort, but Tim does very well in his teaching.. I am working on implementing new ideas that his book helped to create.

Has some good topics and concepts in the book. Doesn't seem very achievable but would be nice to make happen.

Narrator robotic but good

The narrator sounded very robotic but it gave me what I needed to hear it was worth the money.

Some great information contained in this book.

Some great information contained in this book. I feel like half the information is general and useful while the other half is more specific to what the author did to find success in his niche market. I found it a generally worthwhile read.

I definitely think this book is most applicable.

I definitely think this book is most applicable to young people without any real responsibility, children, or debt. Could've cut a few things near the end.

Great

Good book. The only thing I kind of skipped was the entire nomad lifestyle but that is just for personal preference. Has good tips for time management.

Love it!

I enjoyed everything about the book yet what I most enjoyed is how it opened my eyes to so many new possibilities.
