I smiled, grinned, chuckled, guffawed and occasionally laughed out loud. Excellent performances from two senior citizens dealing with the lives of senior citizens as regards lonliness, togetherness and of course, sex. They bicker, fume, fight and try to shut the other out at times It always ends in apologies, openness and insights It's never too late?

This is very clever a little depressing .....terrific actors. Anna Calder Marshall a marvellous voice and funny too. And of course the delightful, clever Bill Nighty he is so wonderful. I do love this book. But it’s really sad. Makes me tearful.

I laughed out loud many times .. Bill Nighy is fabulous and Anna is also very good. The story is very relatable to us over 65s who grew up in the groovy 60’s and 70’s..peace and love ✌️
