I've listened to this sort of Regency romance before. it was well-written with a handful of saucy moments. Excellent narration by Carmen Rose. A good story to listen to whilst completing chores or lazing about playing blokudo! I thought Amy was a cute addition to the cast of characters and I actually liked her more than Maddie whom I found frustrating. I also liked the Duke and look forward to discovering his HEA.

It’s so frustrating, I understand opening up yourself after being hurt and disappointed by people you trust is hard but fudge until the end they couldn’t just sit and talk? After everything that they’ve been through the open conversation to clear everything was dragged to the last chapter. It’s so frustrating. They couldn’t be honest to each other, just jump to conclusions and doubt everything when they could have just communicated.
