Good story. Poor quality recording compared to others.
The narrator has great accented skills and drama.

Dick Francis is a master story teller from the first sentence. Age has not diminished the quality of the books, and Tony Britton brings it home.

Although the recording had dogey quality this was one of the best DF novels I’ve listened to. Have read and listened to for over 30 years and often don’t care for the violence but that goes with the how they role. This was brilliant with little gore. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellent storyline
