What does Craig Beck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

The author narrates his own book so he reads it to you exactly as he intended it to be heard. He also has a great voice which is really nice to listen to. He used to be a radio broadcaster and has a very smooth voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Almost - I listened to it at every opportunity until it was finished.

It delivered as promised - I have been a heavy drinker for most of my life, and this book has enabled me to see alcohol for what it really is, and genuinely not desire it anymore.

You may not realise the great loss you are inflicting upon yourself until it’s too late. This is my own experience and at age fifty I decided to nip it at the bud. This book as well as any knowledge you can acquire about trauma, pain, addiction, living in the moment and getting all the right nutrients, exercise and lifestyle will help you centre yourself so that you may weather the occasional storm. Weather it well my friend as the tides which come and go are yours to claim and be apart of.
