About this listen
These stories were written when my husband, Terry, and I lived in South Dakota between 1999-2005. They are about the people in the town where we lived who were strongly connected to their Danish ancestry and imbued with Christian ideals. Viborg is a small town in the South Dakota prairie. Our time spent there gave us new understanding into what is meant by grass roots and middle American ideals from people who are the salt of the earth. Here are bits of wisdom we learned while living in their midst. Several of the stories came out of my exercise endeavors and health improvement activities during this time.
