Publisher's Summary

Casey had spent most of her life watching the Predators control Queen City, never believing they could be brought to justice. She was the one who always passed unnoticed as Max’s stepsister. They underestimated what she was capable of until it was almost too late. When the Predators discovered they were her prey, there was hell to pay, and Casey was going to have to pay her dues with her soul.

Max trusted his stepsister, not believing for a second she would betray the Predators. She used her body to get what she wanted, and now Max would use the same wiles on her to trap Casey in her own web of deceit. The Predators demanded revenge, and Max was going to see they got what they wanted, even if the price was his soul. This was one standoff neither was going to win.

Great short book worth the read or listen

Just finished listening. Love Ms Begley's books. This has heart. With Shade she hit her "Outlander" with this one she hit her "Dragon fly in Amber" . I listen to a lot of books a year and this one is worth it.

Horrible Narrator

Unable to tell the male and female characters apart. Everyone sounded feminine or effeminate. This book and the series it belongs to is about MC men - they should all sound like club men.

It was alright

Not my favorite book by this author. The writing seemed more juvenile. It may have been influenced by the fact that i wasn’t a fan of the person reading the book.

Good performance, enhanced the story

For me the narrator made the story better. It could have been the content. The narrator brought more to the story. I found it hard to believe that Max could find time to fix a statement he made that in the end let danger come his girl's way.

Worst narration ever

Awful voice , distracted from good story. New narrator should be used, made listening difficult in spite of the good story line.

Disappointed with narrator used

As stated with the last two books in this series I an disappointed in the person narrating this particulor series. I hate that I spent the money as I can't stand listening to this narration.

Bad narrator

When you have a bad ass biker club, with bad ass bikes, you don't want to make them sound like a bunch of wimps. I'm not feeling the seriousness of the situation they're in at the moment because she makes it sound like a toddler being chastised. For crying out loud someone just almost got raped. A teenager. Her whiney voice makes the bastard sound like a kid who just got caught stealing a cookie. I'm sick of her voice in my ears. I just want the book to be over but I payed for it so I have to stick it out. What a bad choice of narrators. What was Jamie Begley thinking. I loved the last riders. When she changed narrators I didn't like it but she wasn't this bad.

Awesome Predator Book!!!

Jamie Begley does it again. Another awesome Predator book. Can't wait for more Predator books.

Casey hasn't had the best up bringing. The only person she cares for is her brother Cole, well that was true until Max came into her life. She only has one question: Can she trust Max? Casey first kiss was Max and she never forgot him.

Max is horn-dog and doesn't do relationship longer than 6 months. 4 kids by 4 different women. He loves all the women in his life, just not enough to stay with them. His family and the Predators are his life and he will do anything to defend them, even hurting Casey.

I would recommend Jamie Begley's books
