About this listen

Squiffen encounters a group of people who arrive on the Lake in a flying machine. They drink tea as if it were some sort of duel and have mechanical devices attached to themselves. They speak of a mechanical fly which has escaped and must be caught but Squiffen has already seen it and it told him it didn't want to be taken back, it wanted its freedom. Can Squiffen save the fly and send the humans away from the lake?
