My new 'go to' meditation book!

I got this set of books by Anne Brennan for an honest review. I have never tried guided meditations before, was mostly practicing mindfulness meditations on my own. However this set of books opened a new world for me. Guided meditations DO work!
I imagine not everyone might like all 3 types of meditations (reiki, kundalini and mindfulness), but to my surprise I found myself in a much calmer and I guess blissful state of mind after listening to all 3 parts.

There are some repetitive parts in this book (such as preparations for meditations). But I guess it makes sense, if you want to listen only to a particular meditation at a given time.

Net net, this is a VERY good set of books, really high quality work. I highly recommend this bundle to everyone interested in (guided) meditations!

Loved it!

Wow. I totally loved it:
- the narrator is superb, his voice is really calming and grounding
- the relaxing effect, you can really feel it
- there are 3 (!) meditation traditions to choose from
- meditations are perfect to begin your day with
This is as good as guided meditations get!

I was provided this book for my honest opinion and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Well worth the time to listen

Meditations should be easy to learn, at least in theory. But for me it's the hardest part. It's one of the most difficult things in my life and I'm not sure I will be able to do it myself. But this guide was definitely helpful and I found it much easier to follow the reader. I received this book for free for my review.

Really good collection

I recieved this book for my review through Audiobook boom.
"Spiritual energy healing" is a 3 in 1 bundle. There are 3 meditation books in this series and 'reiki' is probably my favorite. i'm generally interested in reiki and especially reiki meditations and i thought they were wonderful. I could do without music though, so I'm taking off a few points for not including music-free meditations.

Simply wonderful

I asked this book for a review and I'm so thankful to Anne Brennan for sending it to me. There is so much to take away from this collection. It took me a while to "process" all 3 meditations, but the effect is really obvious. A week of daily meditations and you feel like a new person. The transformation is simply amazing and I can't recommend this book enough to Audible listeners!

One important addition - the meditations have background music. It's really neutral and never overwhelming and in my view this supports the relaxing effect. But I know some people feel differently about guided meditations with music.

Interesting and relaxing

I requested a review copy of this book as I knew little about any of the three meditations and was interested in learning more. The narrator was well chosen for this book, which provides an overview of the three types of meditations, each followed by approximately a 30 minute meditation. I listened through the book once as I would normally, finding it both informative and relaxing. I then selected my preferred meditation which I ended up falling asleep to.

The only negative I would have for this would be that the book is a hybrid, providing both a guide to styles of meditation and actual guided meditations. If you are looking for only one of those two this might not be what you are looking for. However, if you are looking for an introduction, as I was, this is a good place to start.
