Confused and disappointed by this book

Was confused to hear Farrakhan and scenes from the MOVIE Malcolm X. I wanna hear Malcolm. THE REAL MALCOLM! Not a projection of him or hear anyone else’s speeches! Very disappointing. Who thought this was a good idea? False advertising and upsetting.

The Book’s Title Is Inaccurate

This book is a collection of clips, other speakers that include Minister Louis Farrakhan, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and even Denzel Washington from the movie Malcolm X. The “speeches” are either incomplete or part of interviews. The speeches have not been re-mastered so at times it sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks at other times, Malcolm sounds like Lurch from The Adams Family. There is no date, time, or explanation of the “speeches”. “Speeches” also repeat. The listener will recognize repeated “speeches” throughout the work. Personally, I felt like I was listening to various YouTube videos rather than watching them. This is what this work equates to. Finding random Malcolm X clips that can be found on the Internet. It’s a no for me.

Speeches, yes; Organized or labeled? No

You will get to hear Malcolm X and that gives this collection value. However, there are no labels of date, location, interviewers. etc for speeches. As other reviewers pointed out clips from movie and other speakers are included. At the end of chapter 1 is some random few seconds of a clip. At minimum, the chapters could have been labeled with the speech date and location.

What a waste...

Waste of credit... Waste of money... What can I say that hasn’t already been covered by other reviewers. Shame on me for not reading the reviews.

Not professional

A very poor attempt to collect Malcolm X's speeches. Also, there are speeches included that don't belong Malcolm X.
