About this listen

Alderwood is a magical and ancient forest. It is a place of mystery, beauty, and hidden dangers. Finn Aiverhart is a 16 frost old boy with a quiet, introspective nature that sets him apart from his peers. Physically, he is of average height for an Aetherborn with a lean build, giving him a somewhat unassuming presence. His hair is a tousled mop of dark brown, often falling into his clear blue eyes, which hold a depth of thought and a hint of sadness that belies his age. His skin is fair, with a few freckles scattered across his cheeks and nose, a testament to his time spent outdoors in the cold, crisp air of Alderwood.

Finn is introspective and often lost in thought, preferring the solitude of the woods over the bustling village life. He is deeply empathetic, feeling a strong connection to Alderwood and the creatures within it. This empathy extends to his relationships with people, though he finds it difficult to express his feelings, leading others to view him as distant or aloof.

Despite his quiet demeanor, Finn possesses a strong sense of justice and a growing determination to protect those he cares about. He’s intelligent and curious, with a natural affinity for learning, especially when it comes to magic. However, this curiosity sometimes leads him into situations where his powers manifest unpredictably, causing him to question his control over them.

Internally, Finn grapples with a deep sense of isolation, feeling different from those around him due to his burgeoning powers. As he learns more about his destiny as the potential Frostborne, this isolation deepens, creating an internal conflict between embracing his powers and fearing the destruction they might bring. Finn’s journey is as much about understanding his place in the world as it is about mastering the powerful magic within him. We find ourselves in the heart of Alderwood as our journey, and Finn’s begins....
