Disa arbetar som ekonom på ett byggbolag i Stockholm. Hon känner sig åsidosatt och utanför på arbetet, och lika ensam på fritiden. När en nyanställd kollega värderas högre än Disa är måttet rågat och hon säger upp sig. Hon säljer sin lägenhet och spontanköper en gård vid sjön Sommen för pengarna.
