Critic Reviews

Her funniest, freshest and BEST yet . . . Giovanna Fletcher is at the top of her game
Fletcher's writing is as wonderfully readable as ever, and the plot engaging, witty and heartbreaking
An empowering read
A fun read with a big dose of girl power
A MUST-READ. Funny, heartwarming
Warm-hearted, with a heroine to cheer for
Full of spirit and fun

Not the worst book I've ever read. Good enough to pass the time. I found the narrative tended to drone on too much, to the point where I'd skip forward 30 seconds and she's still working her way through a tedious list, or a rant about pop culture references that became a little too repetitive.
I have always enjoyed listening to Emily Atack, but fear that this material was a bit mundane for her talent. A few moments where I wished the author had thrown in a comma here and there so the woman could catch a breath!
