This is a heartwarming and beautiful book. It is a lovely story about friendship and family. I rate it 4 out of 5!!!

I highly recommend this book to young readers and old alike. I think it is an especially important read for teachers as demonstrates a creative approach to engaging young learners in higher order thinking and problem solving.

It would make an excellent novel study for students in years 4-6 as it contains interesting and challenging themes about family, illness and playing to your strengths.
