Short and sweet

I was so happy to see that this was narrated by Abby Craden. I couldn’t bring myself to listen to the prior narration as I’ve been spoiled by Abby’s superb performances.

This is a short and sweet story and we get a brief revisit of Zula (Morgan) and Reese in Lake City.

This isn’t my favorite Gerri Hill book but it was still good and worth a credit. I just wish it were a little bit longer and had more development.

Also, this is just preference but, I would have enjoyed Abby’s more feminine voice for Jen as opposed to the southern accent. That’s nothing against Abby’s performance, it’s just my preference. I love Abby Craden and wish she narrated every les-fic there is. She’s the gold standard for sure.

This is a good one. Go for it. Happy listening!

Loved it

This book was a call from the past, from the time that I was still looking for answers. I read this book years ago, and only after about half of the narration I realized that I actually read the book on paper.
When I see the combination of Gerri Hill and Abby Craden I don’t even bother to read the synopsis, I know it will be a great book, so I got this book the moment it came out on audio, imagine my surprise when I realized it was a great book from the far past.
So yes get this book and enjoy it.

A Hermit Finds Her Heart

Jennifer Is on her way to a writer’s retreat when she gets caught in a blizzard. Ryan is a recluse living in her remote cabin with her two huskies. When Ryan rescues Jen they spend two months trapped by the snow. As feelings grow they must confront their pasts before they can go forward. A marvelous performance.

Love Abby Craden.

Snow Falls was my very first audiobook back in 2013. I was pleased to see it was recorded by Abbey Craden, but I do not like the southern accent for Jen. The novel itself lacks depth and too much boring dialogue between the two main characters.
