    From the creators of The Katering Show comes an ordinary workplace comedy set in the most extraordinary place on earth.

    Maya joins the long-running and much-lauded Bennett Station Adelie Penguin Program as a research assistant in Antarctica. By the time everyone figures out Maya’s completely unqualified for her job it’s too late – the ship is already en route back to Australia and no-one is getting in, or out, of Antarctica until the summer season ends.

Loved it!

Using a favourite word of these Antarctic expeditioners - this series is f@#king excellent! A really skillful blend of humour, ridiculousness, heart & real life Antarctic facts. I would absolutely listen to a season 2 if it gets made. Love the Australian perspective & climate change awareness. Onya Kate & Kate!

Absolutely brilliant!

Love the work of the Kates, and Slushy adds another string to their bow. It is insightful, entertaining, and bitingly funny. Great performances from all the cast, working from a brilliant script. Highly recommended.

Spot on

Very bloody amusing.
The actors performing instantly spring to life creating a very visual listening journey of this tale of misfit ice nutjobs. Kept me awake far too late wanting to binge listen.

Comedy Excellence

Kate McLennen and Kate McCartney once again afirm their status as comedy royalty in Australia both as writers and performers. Slushy is a fresh, hilarious tale, well written and expertly brought to life by a stellar cast. The two Kates have secondary roles along with other Oz acting royals, while relative newcomers take the more lead characters with as much aplomb as their seasoned cast mates. Having said that it is more of an ensemble piece but you'll get the drift. What an absolute gift Audible. Can't thank you enough. If you have to pay for Slushy, it's worth it! And please share. There's also a message worth noting served with so much humour you won't even realise you've done it.

Loved it.- quirky, Australian humour .

ADHD, tradies, scientists, lesbians and Adelie penguins and alcohol in Antarctica - hilariously defiant in the face of climate change. Love the Kate's.
