This is straightforward guidelines.

Great book on the common things we do to sabotage our own sleep. These straightforward guidelines remind us of the things we know we should be doing anyway and teach a few things you may have never thought about.

I really impressed

I have been a night owl for a long time and mainly it because I can do my book explaining during the night when everyone is fast asleep and I can hear myself think. I needed to change this so I got this book and I really impressed by the amount of information I got from this. Everything is well explained with proper credits given to schools and researchers. The whole book was very clinical and it made me realize how detrimental my sleeping routine is.

I recommend this book.

There is so much more to sleep than you thought, and the author discusses everything from how to get to sleep and stay asleep to what sleep does to kick off your hormone dominoes. the author himself listen to the Audiobook and that's fabulous, too. Cannot recommend this highly enough -- I give it 10 stars!

This book uncovers the best solutions to better sleep. It also touches on the contributing factors of sleep deprivation and its effects. This is a very informative book, the suggested strategies for better sleep are simple, relevant and effective. Great book, the ideas are genuine and honest, this is very beneficial to those suffering from sleep deprivation.

This book will change your life!

I am learning so much about even non-sleep issues - because our whole body is affected by sleep (or the lack thereof). This book is more than just about sleep, people! Every page contains at least one gem, and I am learning things I never even HEARD before. Lymphatic system? *MIND BLOWN* This book will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. All because one guy (the author) refused to accept he had an "incurable" medical condition. He changed his outlook, and now he is changing lives.

Highly recommended.

I have sleep apnea and have searched for ways to get a better nights sleep. I came across Chris A. Baird's Easy Sleep Solutions and listen straight through it. I now use the tips inside to help me get more and uninterrupted sleep. I seem to help very much. Highly recommended.

Useful information in this book

I was amazed to know the properties and patterns of our sleep. I was surprised to know that our body and brain doesn’t stop when we sleep. And there are much more interesting and useful information in this book. I’ve now started following the instructions from this book and I am getting the results. I particularly like the section about 'tricks for better sleep'. There seems to be some really good advice in here and I'm trying to activate these at the moment, I think some are starting to have a positive effect already

This was such an excellent book.

This was such an excellent book for me since sleeping is one of the most crucial things that I enjoy but at the same time struggle with. I absolutely enjoyed the information presented by Chris A. Baird about sleeping and easy sleeping solutions. The author speaks about how much sleep is necessary, the different stages of sleep, signs you are not getting enough sleep, myths about sleep, consequences of not getting enough sleep, along with so much more. Great book for anyone who is trying to find the ultimate sleep solutions.

I would definitely recommend you

It doesn't seem to matter how much or how little sleep I get, I generally feel tired during the day. From this book, I've learned that it's probably not the amount of sleep I'm getting but rather the quality of sleep. I've picked up plenty of tips that I'm keen to try out to see if they help. I'll also be changing my bedtime sleep habits as I've also learned that actually I've picked up quite a few bad habits that are probably not helping me at all - like varying bedtimes, listening from a tablet in bed, not having the room perfectly dark ... actually I hadn't realized just how many bad sleep habits I have got until I listen to this! Looks like I've got quite a few changes ahead. Whether you have trouble getting to sleep or, like me, don't sleep well once you are asleep then I would definitely recommend you listen to this book as there's loads of advice for all kinds of issues

This book will give you full information

Sleep plays an important role in physical health. For example, sleep is involved in the healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels. Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk of heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke. This book will give you full information about what sleep is all about, stages of sleep, the myths of sleep, signs of being deprived of sleep, benefits of sleep, different sleep problem and last but not the least the tricks of having a good sleep. What I love about this book is that Chris Baird really made it easy for the listeners to follow some of his useful tips on how to get a good sleep Let us all remember that adults need at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night to work at our best. And children need 12-18hrs of sleep and the number drops to 7.5-9hrs after the age of 18.

Very easy to listen.

This book definitely gave me several areas to focus on improving my sleep. I realized I could do more than one thing to remedy my chronic sleeplessness. I'm getting better sleep, calmer and I've lost a few pounds in the process.

Such an nice and helpful book this was.

Ok, so some of the suggestions in this book are common sense (like no electronics 90 minutes before bed), however, they come with a lot of science and data to back them up. Other suggestions were new to me and I found it all very interesting. As I'm listening, I am implementing the suggestions and sure enough, they're working. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with insomnia or poor sleep in general.

Very easy to understand.

My nutritionist suggests this book as we work through health and nutrition-related issues. Well, listen- easy to understand. Sleep is CRITICAL to weight loss and overall health. If you aren't willing to make changes then nothing will help you. If you are willing to make changes that will positively impact your life and health then this is a great book. We all need reminders to keep us on track so while some info is common sense other facts are great motivators.

Incredible book!!

I found Shawn’s book to be an easy listen, chock full of helpful tips to get your best sleep possible. A lot of the suggestions I already knew and have implemented. Some topics like on grounding, I was not aware of. Highly recommend this book if you are someone or know someone who would like to improve their sleep!

A brilliant book for apprentices.

Hands down the best book I’ve ever listen to sleep. I’ve struggled with insomnia for over 15 years and this book has been more beneficial to me than anything else I’ve tried. I discovered this book so valuable.

I downloaded this book using Kindle Unlimited. This is a very useful book on sleeping disorder and sleepy hygiene tips. I was surprised to see that there were quite a number of information I did not know of, for example. to use your mobile phone as an alarm clock instead of a standard LED alarm clock and the Sleep App. The book is well explained with many sub-chapter to allow for fast listening. Recommended for insomniacs.
