Margareta Lindholm, född 1960 i Tibro, har alltid arbetat med ord och språk. Hon har skrivit en doktorsavhandling i sociologi. Debutromanen kom år 1997, och sedan dess har hon publicerat ytterligare sex romaner och fyra facklitterära böcker.
