Publisher's Summary

Molly Bishop loves living in Manhattan and managing a boutique luxury hotel. She's about to be promoted to her dream job of General Manager, the role she's been striving for her entire career.

There's only one thing standing in her way....

The will of her childhood friend Christian Ford's grandfather. She hasn't even seen Christian in over 10 years, but a recent run-in with his grandfather during a rare visit home resulted in a new condition to the will. Christian will only inherit the ranch he's been running and the real estate development business that he has expanded, if he marries Molly and stays married for at least six months.

Sweet and clean romance

This is a slightly slow moving romance but it's an easy read and I have to say I enjoyed it. Grandpa decides to play matchmaker from the grave, implausible, maybe but this is fiction so just go with it and enjoy.

Six Months in Montana

Pamela Kelley is a new to me author, I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and hit a lot of my favorite themes boxes. I love these will/inheritance, arranged relationship, and second chance/childhood friends stories. I also liked that she kept Molly as a strong lead, but manages to get the best of both worlds.

feel-good romance

This story was adorable - everything I want in a feel-good romance.

A couple of comments:
One, the western elements were very minor for a western-themed novel - a pro for those not into westerns but potentially a con for someone specifically looking for a story with more of ranching/horse theme. Two, the food and wine descriptions were a little overkill, but honestly it didn’t bother me as the protagonist is a definite foodie and those details would matter to her. Three, the storyline is fairly predictable and might be dull for some - predictable does not bother me in the least but worth mentioning.

For those who love a good, clean romance reminiscent of a PG “Hallmark movie”, this is an excellent choice. My only regret is that the rest of this series is not (yet) available on Audible. I loved it and would love to hear more.

Chapter after chapter, great, indeed!

Ms. Kelly, what a wonder... heart warming call of hearts to bind.
Sometimes a wise person can see well beyond time to bring their wisdom beyond the end of their lives to the hearts of loved one who needed a little persuasion. A captivating audible, indeed! Ms. Santomosso, very talented performance... indeed! Thank you both ever so much for sharing your talents with us!

Hallmark movie

This book is an easy listen, predictable, cheesy, ... but sweet. Listen to this after a hard read for some down time.
