A book that grabs you from the beginning. A well written documentation of the wonderful army nurses and 2 sisters. The atrocities of war should always be remembered for those who gave their lives to help keep our country safe.

Like some other reviews I was disappointed that this book wasn’t written with the detail, character clarity and more directional plot of Heather’s Auschwitz series. It felt like a bunch of short stories until the finals weeks where the story had more purpose

HOWEVER STILL A MUST READ… Heather again tells an amazing story that should never be lost. It is inspiring, sad, heartwarming and beautiful in what was an unimaginable time. I am a better human for learning about what these brave women and men have been through. Thank you Heather Morris

Sad, unbelievable, moving and so dramatic, I could hardly stop listening once I started.
As a nurse of many years my heart swells with pride at what these women did for others under the most extreme circumstances and conditions.
